About Us
This domain and product line has been acquired by Uleza LLC. Who owns Uleza LLC, a father that has personal experience with molluscum contagiosum with all his children.
After having a very satisfying experience with the products found on this site, it was important to continue to offer these products for others having the similar experience and possibly the same frustrations with molluscum.
Here is a little more about our story:
I am the parent of three children who all had Molluscum Contagiosum.
When my spouse went to the pediatrician, the doctor said it would go
away on its own. It did not. My wife then went to the dermatologist who
was more than happy to perform cryosurgery (freeze) the lesions off.
For another eight months, visits were made to the dermatologist at a
cost of $45 per child or $135 per visit. Fairly good results were
obtained on the older children but our youngest (age 3 at the time) had
a severe case with lesions on his arms, legs and then face. With the
cryo-therapy (multiple freezing treatments) came scars. These
treatments were so painful on our little boy we had to hold him down
crying and screaming during these procedures. He was emotionally affected and had serious fear of
white coats during this time.
The problem in our opinion with freezing or cryosurgery is this only
kills the mature lesions. It does not treat any lesions that are so
small they can not be seen. With SilverCure, you are able to cover the
skin with an ointment that will help cleanse the skin so it does not create another lesion.
The physician assistant at our dermatologist, recommended Zymaderm. He said some patients
have had success with this product so we tried it. Zymaderm
instructions state to only treat the lesion and avoid contact with
healthy skin. We did that but our son also has eczema and is a three
year old that doesn't know how to sit still very long, well not at all to be honest. Trust our
experience, if your child suffers from eczema or dry skin, use caution when
applying Zymaderm. In our case, Zymaderm exacerbated the Molluscum,
it spread and became worse.
Just read their site thoroughly before purchasing, there is contradictory information like the following direct quote
"...minimize contact with normal skin. ZymaDerm is non-caustic and will not harm normal skin..."
If this product will not harm normal skin, why do you need to
minimize contact? If you have used ZymaDerm successfully, by all means
continue to use it. I am not saying ZymaDerm is not effective, only
that you should use care in this treatment if you or your child suffer
from dry skin or eczema.
When our son got three lesions on his face, my wife had become desperate. While searching the Internet, she found the .
She was concerned with the cost but I told her to forget about it, $200
was nothing if it worked, we had already spent at that time over $1000
of $45/visit co-pays for the three children to the dermatologist based
on our insurance co-pays. At least we have insurance! I would not
like to know what the cost of the dermatologist treatments without
insurance.
Our childrens' skin was cleared up in THREE weeks. I will have to state, we did
get one last cyro-surgery or freezing treatment right before using
SilverCure except for his face. We then started applying the SilverCure ointment, spray and using the pen. The fact we had
one last freezing or cryo-therapy before starting SilverCure I am SURE
helped since it eliminated the mature lesions immediately. We only had them take showers (NO BATHS) and after the shower we would spray them down with the Silver Spray. We would blot them dry with a towel and that towel would only be used once and only on one child and then laundered. After they were dry, we would then apply the Silver Ointment all over the bad areas and use the pen for 20-40 seconds on each and all visible lesions. On mature lesions, when we were concerned they may open, we cleaned the ointment off with alcohol and Silver Spray and then applied the Silver Skin. Some of the mature lesions (about 3-5 per child total during the 3 week period before their skin was cleared up) we "popped" and cleaned the area with alcohol and Silver Spray, applied Silver Ointment and treated with the pen for 20-40 seconds, cleaned the area again with alcohol and Silver Spray and then applied Silver Skin. We did all of this twice a day until their skin was cleared up.
Additional lesions appeared several months after my daughters'
skin was 100% cleared up. I suspect contracting it from school
again. I spoke to the school nurse and she was not aware of any
cases. Do not trust the fact that the school nurse will be informed by parents that their child is attending school with Molluscum. We
know for a FACT there was another child in school with Molluscum.
Also, the CDC does NOT recommend keeping your child from school for
this condition, here is the link. So there is a good chance your child is at school among children with this condition.
This told us that the ointment, spray and pen was the key to getting rid of this the
first time and it worked the second time, as well. If their immune
system had reacted to clear it up, why would one of my children have gotten it a
second time? I know our experience is FAR from a scientific study but
scientific studies are not 100% either, nothing is.
The Silvercure™ Body Cream
has now become part of our daily routine for our son's eczema and his skin is in
the best condition ever since using this body cream. We like to use
the Body Lotion in combination with Hydrocortizone. We use the ointment on the "hot spots". We put a little Silver Body Lotion and a little Hydrocortizone and emulsify it in our hands and apply to his entire body. If you suffer from
Eczema consider using the Silvercure™ Ointment to clear up the hot spots and then the Silvercure™ Body Cream
as a way to try and keep skin clean and free of Eczema. We gave some of the
ointment and body cream to a friend that was suffering from itchy
skin. He was an adult and went to the doctor and got prescribed an
expensive cream. He has stated that the SilverCure Ointment and Cream
has worked just as well as the cream his doctor prescribed. I am NOT
saying to stop using products prescribed by your doctor, but if you
have not had success with other products, give this one a try.
This product does work but NOT IN ALL CASES since there is nothing that works
for everyone 100% of the time. In fact,
my wife suffers from eczema and Silver Body Lotion does NOT help her like it
does our son. She feels that the Silver Body Lotion works for her, just not better than Hydrocortizone. This is proof that SilverCure is not going to work for
everyone. Sorry, I wish I could honestly say that it does but from our
own personal experience it does not. If you are considering any
product that claims to work in all cases, I would be suspicious.
We were so impressed with the way Silvercure™ Products have helped
our children, my company Uleza LLC now owns it. We want to continue to sell these products to give
other parents a helping hand when they are frustrated with Molluscum
and Eczema.
